Safety & Quality
At Scissors Creek Testing, operational excellence is the foundation of everything we do. Our utmost principle of operation is to never compromise on safety or quality.
Our Commitment to Safety
Safe work, from the ground up.
Having started our careers on mine sites and industrial construction sites with very high standards of safety, we've brought those safety standards forward into everything that we do, and all the sites that we visit. We ensure all potential for hazard or injury with our work is minimized through the effective and efficient use of controls and techniques. FLRAs (Field Level Risk Assessment), Near Misses, or other occurrences are openly discussed through team settings and tool box meetings to ensure we all learn from any individual happening and prevent any chance of it happening again.
- ▪ Third Party Certified: Our safety program and implementation has been COR certified since 2024 by the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association. Our Radiation Safety Program is audited and approved by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission.
- ▪ Industry Compliance: Aligned and associated with major compliance platforms. We maintain an ISNet 'A' rating with several mining & industrial clients.
Our Commitment to Quality
Every step of every test, done with care and precision.
Its part of our Mission at SCT to perform meticulous materials testing. We ensure that our technologists have the training, education, certification, and tools to perform their work as best as they can, but beyond that, we foster an environment and a culture where quality is never sacrificed for the sake of efficiency or margin. It is a foundational principle of our business to be excellent at what we do.
