Tailings Management Area expansions at Nutrien Rocanville potash mine. Work performed from 2022 to present.
Scope of Services:

Mosaic K1 & K2 Decommissioning
Crushrite Concrete, Mosaic, LZhang Consulting | Esterhazy, SK
Completed all internal testing for Crushrite Concrete during specialized mix production for the Mosaic K1 & K2 Decommissioning projects. Supplied testing for several 24/7 multiday pours throughout the decommissioning process.
Scope of Services:
- ▪ Pre-project qualification testing, including uniformity testing.
- ▪ Plastic concrete testing, including temperature, SCC slump flow, and air entrainment.
- ▪ Project density and yield correction testing.
- ▪ Compressive specimen casting & testing. Total of nearly 1200 compressive specimens cast during duration of project.
Concrete Investigations with GPR & Coring

Scissors Creek Testing was contracted to perform an investigation on a concrete slab with active heat lines and rebar within the structure. To ensure we did not hit any lines or rebar during coring, we used GPR to map the locations of the embedded elements prior to drilling.
Scope of Services:
- ▪ GPR scanning to map embedded elements to ensure safe coring.
- ▪ Coring & extraction for analysis and testing. Backfill of coring holes.
- ▪ Visual inspection and documentation.
- ▪ Comprehensive and objective factual record of all data supplied.
